Remember that whole story about this sophomore kid from college dunking on Lebron. then Lebron telling NIKE to pull the tapes? Well, the noc list is in the open. Is it time to announce the demise of our King?

Quite honestly, I don’t think the dunk was that big. It was a 2 foot 2 handed dunk over a Lebron whose lazy in the post and ended up jumping a little late and (was still higher then the kid) but simply missed the ball. And this is coming from someone who desperately wants to hate Lebron. Am I missing something here, what is everyone else’s thoughts?

Ok…. Post typing the above statement I have just seen ESPN’s response to the release of the video that has been dunked on.

Seriously people! It’s freaking July, there’s no reason to release this video today. It is in direct response to the blogs and video sites bashing Lebron. I think it is incredibly lame to do this. He can’t be king all the time. Jordan got schooled in practice one time by some back up and he let the tapes get out. Did he get his revenge? Yes… on the court. Let Lebron come out next year and just posterize some people – let that be the response. Let him reject the crap out of that college kid when he gets to the NBA. Don’t just ceremoniously put him as the #1 dunk of ALL time over a Tim Duncan that didn’t even leave the ground. Kevin Johnson, Jordan, Pippen, Dr. J, Starks – all dunks better then Lebron’s top 2 dunks. Seriously, what a joke!
