[DailyCamera.com] When you make a post on Craigslist, a lot of people are going to read it. If you include the word FREE, you’re going to stir a lot of interest in the bottom feeders of Craigslist. To her demise, that’s exactly what one girl in Boulder, CO did. Except it wasn’t just one free thing, she announced “EVERYTHING’S FREE”.

People came in droves and went in the backdoor despite Elaan not being there and did exactly what the ad requested: take EVERYTHING. Well, someone had second thoughts and called a number written in the house that went to Elaan’s mother. The mother called the police. Her roommate came back to find all her stuff had been rifled through because of her roommate’s genius plan.

Using her same genius method of contacting the Craigslist crawlers, Elaan reached out to everyone that participated to try and get some items back that weren’t supposed to be free:

Regarding the “Free Sale” on Saturday, May 28th at 501 Evergreen Ave:
Due to miscommunication and confusion over start time, many items were taken that were not meant to be free.
PLEASE return the following items as soon as possible if you have them:

Lawnmower and garden hose (these belong to the landlord)
Comforter set,
Mens clothes from upstairs,
Tools
ANYTHING from upstairs.

Please be honest and return these things,
